The Selections provide informed advice as a basis to start wagering with greater confidence. It's a subset of the Edge data, and available at low cost from the website. Selections provide

• Most Probable - the three most likely winners for the day of racing
• Horse Number (Head) and Morning Line (ML) Odds, as seen in the program
• True Odds for each horse in every race. True odds because they consider more factors
• Most Relevant Characteristic of each horse, which affects the odds
• Ordered Probability ranking of the horses

Betting Tips

• For a good chance of winning, bet the Most Probable. These horses are typically favourites with a low payoff, but it will be fun to see your horse challenging for the win.
• If you are looking for better returns and want to hit an occasional long shot, then bet with the odds line. These are the true odds, but if you find a horse with higher odds on the tote board bet it. You could bet every horse that is over the odds, as these represent true value.
• If you want to play a particular angle, read the comments section. These comments are based on years of historical information and provide insight into critical factors that can play in the race.
• If you enjoy handicapping the program, use the comments section to confirm your thoughts or bring to light a possible choice you have not considered.
• When looking for options in building your exactor and triactor wagers use the selections as an indication of the potential probability and payout for your horses.
